43 days to go. Over £500 raised. Most of the necessities gathered together.

So what have we been up to?

Al has found a cooker in his shed.
Rik has found a tent in his loft.

Sam has been busy making the road worthy me (Bruce) rally ready with sound proofing, rear seatbelts and fixing any faults. Oh, and he has found some spare parts for me in his garage.
And as for me? I have tried on a hat after those student types realised that they cannot fit much beer in my boot so are insisting I must lug a roof box along as well. Alcoholic bastards.

An Introduction

Hello and welcome to the inaugural post on the blog for The Young Ducks.

We are Sam, Rik and Al, three motorsport students at Derby University and in August 2012 will be embarking on the 1500 mile road trip from Canterbury (or, in our case, Derby) to Bratislava (Slovakia!) in a Mini called Bruce. We are doing this in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity and have a sponsor page for anyone wanting to donate to this wonderful charity.
